The Juniper QSFPP-40G-LX4 is a high-performance optical transceiver designed for use in Juniper Networks switches and routers. It is a QSFP+ module that supports data transfer rates of up to 40 Gbps and operates at a wavelength of 1310 nm. The QSFPP-40G-LX4 is designed to support link distances of up to 10 km over single-mode fiber, making it ideal for use in long-haul networking applications.

The QSFPP-40G-LX4 is a hot-pluggable optical transceiver that plugs directly into a QSFP+ port on a Juniper Networks switch or router. It features a standard MPO/MTP connector for the optical interface and a 38-pin edge-type connector for the electrical interface. The transceiver is fully compliant with the QSFP+ MSA (multi-source agreement) and can be used in any QSFP+ port that supports the 40GBASE-LX4 standard.
